Cell Phone Cdma Could a Cell Phone running off of a CDMA network set off a car alarm?
I was thinking there was something faulty with the alarm but than i realized I left my spare phone in the center console. I was thinking that some type of interference may have been going on. Is this possible? My system is an older rolling code viper alarm.
The CDMA uses a different type of system, works off of radio frequencies from what I hear.

I'm sick and tired of seeing my brother's partner's greasy fingerprints all over my computer screen. I've told her often enough "DO NOT TOUCH THE FRIGKING SCREEN", but it doesn't seem to sink in. Well, I've read that there is a type of capacitative touch-screen that operates by sensing a small discharge of electricity at the point where a person's finger touches the screen... maybe if I crank up the voltage on such a screen, I can have a NO-TOUCH-screen to discourage my thick-skulled friend. What do you think?
There's no way. I believe that most screens use that technology already, or at least touchpads do. It makes sure that only a person can manipulate it and not some random object that touches it. It uses very little electricity and only measures the capacitance. Increasing the power is a. impossible, b. useless, and c. will completely destroy the screen.
Perhaps you could put something irritating on it, like some sort of clear pepper spray.

i bought 1 today, brought it home to find that it doesnt charge because the connection seems to be faulty either on the charger or the phone. i dont't know whether its worth gettin it repaired but im not sure whether i want a refund because everywhere was out of stock and it took me a while to eventually find it.

yes the batteries in the right way cos i had it turned on lol.
it just doesnt charge unless u hold the charger in.
My sisters got that phone and hasn't had this problem with it, wicked little phone once you get it going! I'd say get in touch with SE and see about the warranty covering the repairs as they will probably do the best job.
But before that.... is the battery in the right way?
edit: Right, blow HARD on the bit the battery goes into, then with the charger turned off, blow and rub it a bit. I found that helped with my w850i, just don't rub it too hard else you might break the pins off x
