Cell Phone Cdma Could a Cell Phone running off of a CDMA network set off a car alarm?
I was thinking there was something faulty with the alarm but than i realized I left my spare phone in the center console. I was thinking that some type of interference may have been going on. Is this possible? My system is an older rolling code viper alarm.
The CDMA uses a different type of system, works off of radio frequencies from what I hear.

That happened with my phone and it was a Motorola. The battery was fine. I called customer service and they went through a routine with me where I had to check the back of the phone to see if a little white circle had turned pink. I said no and they told me that if it was, that meant that the phone had gotten wet. Because that wasn't the problem and my phone was still under warranty, they sent me a new one and I had to send them my old one back once I got the new one.
