any1 own a sony ericsson W580i?

i bought 1 today, brought it home to find that it doesnt charge because the connection seems to be faulty either on the charger or the phone. i dont't know whether its worth gettin it repaired but im not sure whether i want a refund because everywhere was out of stock and it took me a while to eventually find it.
has any1 had a similar problem with this mobile because i dont want to get it repaired just to have it break again in a few weeks.
yes the batteries in the right way cos i had it turned on lol.
it just doesnt charge unless u hold the charger in.

My sisters got that phone and hasn't had this problem with it, wicked little phone once you get it going! I'd say get in touch with SE and see about the warranty covering the repairs as they will probably do the best job.

But before that.... is the battery in the right way?

edit: Right, blow HARD on the bit the battery goes into, then with the charger turned off, blow and rub it a bit. I found that helped with my w850i, just don't rub it too hard else you might break the pins off x
